Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Rumley Center on the Campbell campus. Melissa Stancil, Student Affairs Coordinator for the College of Pharmacy, said the drive is part of a service learning curriculum component for Campbell students.
“The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences holds two blood drives a year, one in the fall and one in the spring, as part of the annual Health Sciences Fair,” said Stancil. “The blood drives are a say to serve the community as well as expand the students’ professional knowledge.”
The blood drive is open to the community. Appointments may be made in advance by calling Melissa Stancil at 910.893.1692.
“We’d love to have a great turnout of faculty, staff, students and the community,” Stancil said.
