Career Center holds sixth-annual Mock Interview Day

RALEIGH, N.C. – Nearly thirty Campbell Law students participated in the Campbell Law Career Center’s sixth-annual Mock Interview Day on Friday, Feb. 10. Each student was paired with one of four participating employers in an effort to improve their interview skills prior to seeking professional employment. Each participating employer volunteered their time to help better prepare the next generation of Campbell Law attorneys.

“Mock interviews are a vital part of the learning and career development process for Campbell Law students,” said Campbell Law Career Center Director Kala Taylor. “These opportunities are incredibly valuable for our students because it presents them with a platform to enhance their skills in a real-world setting, receive constructive feedback and suggestions, and get an inside look at what active employers are seeking in candidates.

“We are extremely grateful to our legal community volunteers giving their time and efforts in service to our students.”

The Campbell Law Career Center also hosted a networking luncheon as a part of the program. The luncheon provided students an opportunity to get to know each participating interviewer, representing several different types of law and employment throughout North Carolina.
