RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law School’s Career Center and Women in Law combined to host a judicial forum on Monday, March 18. The informative panel discussion and networking reception featured seven members of the North Carolina judiciary.

Judge Christine Walczyk (Wake County District Court)
“Campbell Law is fortunate to have so many esteemed members of the local legal community, especially members of our state judiciary, that are eager to share in their experiences and provide insight to our students,” said Campbell Law Career Center Director Julie Beavers. “Our students appreciate the opportunity to meet and learn from these professionals, and we are thankful to be in a position to offer opportunities like this annually.”
Each distinguished participant provided the audience with a brief introduction, sharing their career path to the bench as well as an overview of their judicial branch. The panel also offered a collective list of “best practices” for new lawyers appearing before judges, as well as an overview of the state clerkship selection process. Campbell Law students were provided the opportunity to pose questions relevant to opportunities inside chambers.
