RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law School’s Career & Professional Development Center is set to host the fourth-annual Campbell Law Career Night on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 5:30 p.m. More than 35 employers and 15 practice areas will be represented by 44 attorneys at the event, which allows Campbell Law students to explore traditional areas of legal practice.
More than 30 of the attorneys scheduled to participate in Career Night hold law degrees from Campbell Law.
“Career exploration and strategic networking are vital for law school students, especially as they begin to seriously explore employment opportunities,” said Campbell Law Career & Professional Development Center Director Julie Beavers. “Career Night has become a signature event at Campbell Law, and speaks very well of our students that so many of them seize the opportunity to engage two important career development areas simultaneously.”
Practicing professionals on-site for the event will represent a broad assortment of legal sectors, including corporate, criminal, environmental, family law, government, health law, immigration, intellectual property, labor and employment, defense and plaintiff litigation, real estate, and trusts and estates/estate planning.
“We are grateful to our alumni and friends in the community for their continued support of our students at Career Night,” said Beavers. “Practitioners offer significant insight into the realities of practicing law and our students are eager to absorb and utilize this knowledge as they make informed decisions about future employment opportunities.”
