RALEIGH, N.C. – The Campbell Public Interest Law Students Association (CPILSA) will hold its fourth annual silent auction fundraiser at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 7 at Vita Vite. All proceeds from the silent auction will support the group’s summer stipend program, which provides financial assistance to students working in unpaid public interest law internships.
Auction items will include event tickets, art, crafts, books, jewelry, baked goods, and much more.
“The idea behind CPILSA’s silent auction is to encourage Campbell Law students to explore public interest work,” said CPILSA President and second-year student Natalie Klemann. “The stipend allows the awarded students to take an unpaid summer internship in the public interest field that they otherwise may not consider.”
CPILSA is currently soliciting auction items and donations to assist in the effort. If you would like to provide an item or assist in any way, contact Klemann at ndklemann0914@email.campbell.edu.
A student led initiative, CPILSA was founded in 2010 and strives to guide Campbell Law students to rewarding careers in public interest law.
