CU’s Graduate and Professional Student Information Fair held this week

Buies Creek, N.C.—Learn about the graduate and professional programs offered at Campbell University and other major universities at the Graduate and Professional Student Information Fair, sponsored by Campbell’s Office of Career Services. The fair is set for Thursday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

A total of 28 schools including Campbell will be represented at the fair, according to Jayme Lachapelle, Career Services Assistant and Advisor. Among them are Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business; North Carolina Central’s law school, North Carolina State University’s Master of Accounting program, Elon University’s School of Communications; Wake Forest University and Walden University, an online resource for higher education.

“The fair makes sure students are aware of programs both at Campbell and outside the University that they may be interested in,” said Lachapelle. “Hopefully, the students can gather information and points of contact for the future.”

The Graduate and Professional Student Information Fair also help makes students from other schools aware of the programs offered at Campbell, Lachapelle said.

“We hope to partner with these participating schools in future events and establish good, reciprocal relationships with them so that we can help our current and future students,” she said.
