The Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences welcomed its third cohort of doctor of physical therapy (DPT) students to campus on Monday, January 5. The DPT Class of 2018 rounds out the program’s overall capacity, meaning the three year program has a cohort of students enrolled in each year of study.
The forty-one newly minted student physical therapists were welcomed to campus by Greg Dedrick, PT, ScD, program director, Faithe Beam, MDiv, dean for spiritual life, and Michael L. Adams, PharmD, PhD, dean of the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.
“There are a lot of people who wanted to be in your spot today,” said Adams. “Take advantage of the opportunities presented to you during your time here. Rise to the challenges of your curriculum, so you can provide quality health care to the community and your future patients.”
