Dr. Hsiao named Chair for Business Administration & Economics

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Dr. Yu-Mong Hsiao Yang has been named chair of the Campbell Business Administration & Economics department effective Saturday, Aug. 15. Dr. Hsiao has taught on the Campbell Business faculty for more than 30 years.

“I am honored to serve in my new capacity as the chair of Business Administration and Economics department,” said Dr. Hsiao. “I look forward to working with the university administration and our faculty, staffs, students, and stakeholders to fulfill the mission of the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business.”

Dr. Hsiao joined the Campbell Business faculty in 1984. She earned her Ph.D. and Master of Economics from NC State University, her Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, and her B.A. in Economics from the National Taiwan University.

At Campbell Business, Dr. Hsiao has taught a broad range of courses in accounting (taxation), quantitative methods (management science), and economics, at both the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition to teaching, she is a North Carolina Certified Public Accountant.
