Drummond elected to Campbell University Board of Trustees

Patricia Drummond, of Charlotte, N.C., has been elected to Campbell University’s Board of Trustees. Currently retired, Drummond has held positions as a teacher, director for an English as a Second Language program, piano instructor and development assistant at a science museum.A native of Rome, Ga., Drummond is a graduate of Mercer University. She is also a recipient of the Alumni Service Award from Campbell University.Active in her church, Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews, Drummond currently serves as a greeter team leader and leader for the Women’s Ministry team. She has served on the boards of To Life, Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlanta, SciTrek, Young Audiences, Children’s Healthcare, Achievement Rewards for College Scientists and Marble Retreat and was a trustee and chairman of the Development Committee at Shorter College.She and her husband Jere, who retired from BellSouth, are the parents of three children. They have eight grandchildren.
