Drummond elected to Campbell’s Presidential Board of Advisors

Patricia Drummond, of Charlotte, N.C., has been elected to Campbell University’s Presidential Board of Advisors. Currently retired, Drummond has held positions as a teacher, director of the English as a Second Language program, piano teacher and as a development assistant at a science museum.A native of Rome, Ga., Drummond received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Shorter College in 1962. She is also the recipient of the Alumni Service Award for outstanding contributions.In addition, Drummond has been an active citizen of her community, serving on the boards of several organizations including Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlanta, Sci´Trek, Young Audiences, Children’s Healthcare and Achievement Rewards for College Scientists. Drummond is an active member of Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews, where she serves as a leader of the Greeter Team and the Women’s Ministry Team.She and her husband Jere are the parents of three children, Beth Henry, David Drummond and Julie Carpenter.
