The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University promoted Edward Fubara to associate dean for academics effective immediately.
“Edward has been invaluable to the growth and development of the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business for many highly productive years,” said Campbell Business Dean Kevin O’Mara.
“He has directed our MBA programs for over a decade and leaves it poised for success. I truly appreciate how well he did in his role as interim dean last year as it made my transition very easy. Edward is respected by his colleagues, making him the natural choice for this important leadership position within the Campbell business school.”
Fubara joined Campbell’s business faculty in 2005 and developed an accelerated graduate program prerequisite course for incoming master of business administration students. In 2007, Fubara became the director of Campbell’s MBA program, where he provided leadership for the 200-student graduate program while teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. During the 2015-16 academic year, he served as interim dean for Campbell Business.
“I am excited about this opportunity to support the faculty and students of the business school in a new capacity,” said Fubara. “My goals include improving our assessment processes, assisting in the development of new programs, and helping students overcome obstacles.”
Fubara holds a bachelor of science from the University of Benin in Nigeria and a master of business administration and doctor of philosophy from Michigan State University.
