Edward Gore Jr. elected to Campbell board

Edward M. Gore, Jr., of Shallotte, N.C., has been elected to the Campbell University Presidential Board of Advisors. Gore is president of the computer software and hardware firm Holman-Gore, Inc. A native of Sunset Beach, Gore attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and North Carolina State University. He was a candidate for the North Carolina Senate in 2002 and ran for the North Carolina House of Representatives in 2004 In his spare time, Gore enjoys computer programming, reading and politics. He is married to the former Cheryl Holman of Greensboro, N.C.
