Eight Campbell University student scholars were recently accepted to present their research at the Southern States Communication Association conference in Norfolk, Virginia. One of the students brought home the conference’s award for top undergraduate paper.

“Going to SSCA to present my research paper on Pixar movies was an honor,” Yeatts said. “It was a cool experience for me to meet so many intelligent people. SSCA was truly the highlight of my academic career at Campbell.”
Senior exercise science major Margaret Salisbury was also one of four finalists for the top paper designation.
The conference invited six other Campbell Communication Studies students to present their work, including Olivia Cox, MacKenzie Davis, Kayla Lucas, Sarah Newman, Kimberly Prodorutti and Carson Shoop.
