Danielle “Dani” Evans has been named Campbell’s director of compliance and Title IX coordinator, providing guidance to the University on compliance and risk management while overseeing processes for addressing Title IX matters.
Prior to joining Campbell, Evans was the senior campus investigator for the Office of Title IX and Clery Compliance at UNC Pembroke. There, she implemented trauma-informed practices in her work with campus community members who experienced sexual harm and provided space for students to be heard. She also sat on the school’s CARE Team and Threat Assessment Team, monitoring individual and campus safety concerns.
Before joining higher education, Evans was an associate attorney for Susan Lynn Mimura & Associates, a general defense firm in Meridian, Idaho. In this role, she gained experience working on issues related to civil rights, constitutional law, criminal law, family law and Title IX.
Evans earned two bachelor’s degrees from Boise State University (criminal justice and social sciences) in 2013 and a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2017.
