BUIES CREEK, North Carolina – Campbell University will hold its 2016 Family Weekend Sept. 23-25.
Academic departments, student organizations, and University administration collaborate to host a dynamic and welcoming weekend for Campbell families. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, families of current Campbell students are invited to visit campus for a weekend of community and fellowship.
Highlights of the weekend include:
- Family Putt-Putt, FootGolf, & Long Drive Contest
- Hypnotist Richard Barker
- University Faculty/Staff Meet & Greet
- First-Year Student/Parent Seminar
- Family Worship Service
The Fighting Camels will also be in action on their home courts and fields during the weekend.
- Volleyball plays UNC-Asheville and Radford
- Women’s Soccer hosts Presbyterian
- Football plays Butler
During the football game, Campbell will recognize its Family of the Year. Each year, the Office of Student Life honors one special family for their contribution to the education of their student as a reminder to the campus community that relationships and support groups are critical for a student’s success.
