Family Weekend to feature full slate of events (and fireworks), March 25-27

A full slate of family-friendly events have been scheduled for Family Weekend at Campbell University, set for the weekend of March 25-27.

From escape rooms to tailgating at sporting events, a class ring ceremony and Friday night fireworks, Family Weekend will be a celebration of Campbell’s academic, extracurricular and athletic achievements.

“Being part of Campbell University is not just about the students, but the entire family is supportive and involved, said Danielle Davis, Family Council member and mother of a 2019 Campbell grad and a current Campbell freshman. “Family Weekend provides a wonderful opportunity for families and their students to fellowship and share Campbell pride together. We want everyone to experience the beautiful campus at Campbell and all that it has to offer.”

All families planning to attend are asked to register (click here) — the deadline to register is Thursday, March 17. Registration is $30 per family regardless of the number of family members attending. Campbell students will have free admission to all events and can use their student ID to access their regular meal plans and attend sports events, but must purchase tickets for any separate ticketed events, such as baseball games and the family dinner social mixer.

Each family registration will also include a commemorative picnic blanket.

Family of the Year

The Office of Student Life will honor one family for their overall contribution to the education of their student by recognizing the “Campbell University Family of the Year” during Family Weekend.

Those wishing to be considered are asked to highlight their family by submitting a 30-second video clip explaining why your family is deserving of the title. (Click here to register and submit a video)

Deadline for nominating your family is Wednesday, March 16.
