BUIES CREEK, North Carolina – Campbell University’s College of Art & Sciences is introducing the design work of Ki Ho Park, assistant professor of graphic design at Campbell, through an exhibit that will run through Oct. 30 in the Taylor Bott Rogers Fine Arts Building’s Saul’s Gallery. Park joined the Campbell faculty last year.
The exhibit is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be a reception Thursday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m.
“Mr. Park’s work seems to have another dimension that, on its face seems flat, but as you look at it, it plays with translucencies and overlaps to give it an almost three-dimensional appearance,” said Larkin Tysor, associate professor of art.
In addition to introducing Park’s work to the Campbell community, the exhibit features work by students studying under his direction.
Park holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Visual Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University. He has received numerous awards in the field of graphic design, including the SK Telecom Media & Interactive Award in 2013.
