Food drive to honor Campbell student’s memory

The Campbell University School of Pharmacy will conduct a food drive to honor the memory of second-year pharmacy student Brie Anne Reynolds. Reynolds was killed in a car accident near her hometown of Marion, Va., on Wednesday, Aug. 8.Jenny Sloop, coordinator of Student Affairs for the School of Pharmacy, said the “Brie Reynolds Feed the Children” food drive is open to all for participation. The food drive will benefit local agencies and shelters.”This is a sad time in the history of the Campbell University School of Pharmacy,” said Dean Ronald Maddox. “We’re a small school and one great advantage of a small student body is that we get to know the students. Each student becomes a member of our family and is loved and cared for by our faculty and our staff. Brie Anne Reynolds was one of our students. We will miss her, but we are thankful that Brie was here with us for a time. It is our prayer that angels will surround her and saints welcome her.”For more information on how to participate in the “Brie Reynolds Feed the Children” food drive, contact, Jenny Sloop at 910.893.1692 or 800.760.9734, ext. 1692.Photo Copy: Brie Reynolds at the White Coat ceremony conducted by the Campbell University School of Pharmacy for first-year pharmacy students.
