RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Director of Student Life & Pro Bono Opportunities Beth Froehling was elected to an at-large position on the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys (NCAWA) Board of Directors at the organization’s annual meeting on Oct. 5. The appointment marks Froehling’s second stint on the organization’s board, having served in a similar capacity from 1997 to 2001.
“I am excited to serve women attorneys throughout the state of North Carolina in this role, and I look forward to developing opportunities for Campbell Law students to participate when possible,” said Froehling.
Founded in 1978, the NCAWA aims to increase the effective participation by women in the justice system, in public office, and within the legal profession; to promote the rights of women under the law; and to promote the welfare of women attorneys in North Carolina.
Froehling has been an active member in NCAWA for 23 years. She first joined the organization as a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where she served as a student representative. Froehling is locally active with the Wake Women Attorneys Chapter of NCAWA, which is led by President Mallory Lidaka, a 2010 Campbell Law graduate.
