RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Director of Student Life & Pro Bono Opportunities Beth Froehling recently co-presented on domestic violence for practitioners at Litigation Training: Representing Victims of Domestic Violence in Custody Cases, April 9-10 in Cary. The continuing legal education (CLE) event was hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association in partnership with the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence.
Froehling co-presented with Suzanne Chester of The Child’s Advocate with Legal Aid of North Carolina.
The two-day event provided custody law and litigation skills for practicing attorneys that will enable them to more effectively, ethically, and holistically represent victims of domestic violence in child custody cases.
“I enjoyed participating in this CLE and discussing an issue near and dear to my heart,” said Froehling. “I hope that my part in this CLE will assist attorneys in better representing and protecting victims of domestic violence and their children.”
