Froehling to co-lead CLE for domestic violence practitioners

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law School Director of Student Life & Pro Bono Opportunities Beth Froehling will co-lead a continuing legal education (CLE) seminar for domestic violence practitioners on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Froehling will present on domestic violence dynamics, legal remedies, and legislative updates.

The CLE will be held at the Durham County Courthouse in nearby Durham, N.C., from 12:15-1:30 p.m., and will provide one hour of Substantive Law credit pending state bar approval.

“I am excited to take part in this CLE and discuss an area of law near and dear to my heart,” said Froehling. “I look forward to sharing with my peers in the local legal community as we seek improved ways to better serve victims of domestic violence.”

In addition to Froehling’s presentation, Sherry Honeycutt Everett will offer a section on recent appellate decisions. Everett serves as a domestic violence staff attorney for Legal Aid of North Carolina and is a Partner at Everett & Everett in Durham.
