Health Care Reform is topic of Campbell SGA lecture

Buies Creek, N.C.-Dr. Grant Reeher, who has appeared on CNN’s “The Situation Room,” will deliver a lecture on Heath Care Reform, “What went Wrong and Why It’s Coming Back,” on Wednesday, April 7, at 7 p.m. at Lynch Auditorium in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. The lecture is part of the Academic Lecture Series sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) at Campbell. Reeher is the director of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Co-sponsored by the Department of Government, History and Justice, the lecture is free and open to the public.

Reeher, a professor of Political Science at Syracuse, received a Ph.D. from Yale University in 1992. His areas of expertise include American politics, political theory and health care policy. Reeher’s work has appeared in numerous publications and he is the author of two books, An examination of Political Representation through the Lens of Legislatively-Oriented Activity and An Examination of Representation and Citizen Political Efficacy in Situations of Extreme Political Inequality.
