HLSA to host panel discussions on immigration reform

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Campbell Law Hispanic Law Student Association (HLSA) will host “Perspectives on Immigration Reform: Business, Community, and Faith” on Thursday, Oct. 17. The program will feature two panel discussions at the law school, one at 4:30 p.m. with a second to follow at 7 p.m., as well as heavy hors d’oeuvres throughout a 6 p.m. networking session.

The event, which is open to the general public, will provide members of the Campbell Law community and area residents with an opportunity to learn about the widespread impact of immigration reform.

* Linda Andrews: Federal Affairs Director, N.C. Farm Bureau (4:30 p.m.)
* Andrew Castle: Executive Director, World Relief Durham (4:30 p.m.)
* Doug Gamble: Missions Pastor, Crossroads Fellowship (7 p.m.)
* Linda Jones: Missions Coordinator, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of N.C. (7 p.m.)
* Anna McLeod: Immigration attorney at Chapman Law Firm, Campbell Law alum (7 p.m.)
* Jake Parker: Former National Legislative Director of Farm Bureau and clerk for the Supreme Court of N.C. (7 p.m.)
* Dan Rearick: Executive Director, Uniting N.C. and N.C. Justice Center attorney (4:30 & 7 p.m.)
* Marco Roldan: Ál Mandado Supermarket owner, Christian businessman and immigrant (4:30 & 7 p.m.)
* Harry Warren: Member of the N.C. House of Representatives and human resource specialist (4:30 p.m.)
