Campbell University has established the Campbell Forward Society to recognize donors who give $2,500 or more annually to the Campbell Forward Fund, supporting scholarships, student experiences and capital projects.
The annual giving society brings together alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, corporations and foundations whose support helps the University address its highest priorities and respond to emerging needs.
“The Campbell Forward Society was created to strengthen annual philanthropy, deepen engagement and build a community of supporters committed to advancing Campbell’s mission for years to come,” said University President Dr. William M. Downs.
The Campbell Forward Fund, formerly the Fund for Campbell, provides unrestricted support that allows the University to direct resources where they are needed most. Its new name reflects Campbell’s continued investment in its students and its future while offering a clearer way to communicate the impact of annual giving.
“The Campbell Forward Society recognizes those who believe in the power of philanthropy to shape what comes next. It’s about a shared belief in Campbell’s mission, where members are not only investing in the university we know today, but in all that Campbell can become” said April Ganong, director of development.
Donors who join during the society’s inaugural year receive special recognition as members of the Founders Circle and will forever be honored as the supporters who helped propel Campbell into its next chapter.
Membership is based on cumulative annual gifts to the Campbell Forward Fund, with four recognition levels:
- Leader: $2,500 to $4,999
- Fellow: $5,000 to $9,999
- Ambassador: $10,000 to $24,999
- Advocate: $25,000 or more
Members receive recognition and opportunities to connect with the University through campus updates, communications from University leadership and special event invitations. Membership is renewed annually through qualifying support to the fund.
