Campbell University’s students from the Adam Smith Club and the International Business Club took the initiative to invite local businesses to campus for a job fair on Nov. 18 at the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. The hallways were full between classes with students submitting resumes to 16 businesses including the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Piedmont Biofuels and Cross Associates. Senior Amberly Matthis, who belongs to both clubs, said, “With the job market being the way it is, we wanted to offer internships and jobs to as many students as we can. This fair brought in a lot of companies that might not normally come to Campbell looking for students.”
