RALEIGH — Campbell Law School is competing in the 2026 North Carolina Legal Feeding Frenzy — a “food and fund” drive competition among all North Carolina law firms, law schools and organizations to assist Feeding The Carolinas’ Food Banks that runs from March 1-31, 2026.
“This is a spirited competition where law schools and law firms unite to make a lasting impact by seeing who can raise the most canned food and donations for those in need,” said Dean J. Rich Leonard. “Campbell Law has won the Legal Feeding Frenzy competition between the law schools four times since 2021 and we would like to continue that trend with your help.”
The competition aims to fight hunger across North Carolina by uniting the legal community in support of local food banks. In this friendly competition, the law firm, school or organization with the highest average individual donation (calculated by the team’s total donations divided by the team’s total number of donors) will be awarded the prestigious and highly coveted “Attorney General’s Cup.”

The program is hosted annually through the combined efforts of N.C. Attorney General Jeff Jackson, the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA)’s Young Lawyers Division, the North Carolina Bar Foundation (NCBF) and Feeding the Carolinas food banks.

Teams began collecting physical and monetary donations, both in-person and online on Friday, March 1. Every dollar donated equals nine meals that can be provided through local N.C. food banks.
Jackson will recognize the N.C. Legal Feeding Frenzy winners in a live or virtual ceremony (the exact format will be determined at a later date). In addition to the Attorney General’s Cup, Jackson will present additional awards in categories including: Sole Practitioner, Small Firm, Medium Firm, Large Firm, Law School, Public Interest, and Corporate/In-House Counsel. Government/public interest offices and corporate legal departments are encouraged to participate as well and will be grouped into the categories listed above based on size.
