Junior Trust students dine at Pinehurst

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Junior students in the Campbell Business School Trust & Wealth Management undergraduate program travelled to Pinehurst Country Club for dinner on Sept. 6. The junior dinner is courtesy of the Trust Education Foundation and is a tradition that dates back decades to the very inception of the Trust program. Nearly 50 Trust juniors enjoyed a putting contest, exploring Pinehurst Country Club and an excellent steak dinner. The annual evening is considered a rite of passage as juniors begin Trust major classes.

“The chance to network, to meet their classmates and to really see what a “family” trust is firsthand is just invaluable,” said Campbell Business Department of Financial Planning and Accounting Chairman Jimmy Witherspoon. “The program has almost 2,000 alumni and almost without exception they are loyal to Campbell Business School, our Trust & Wealth Management program, and far more importantly, to the students coming through the program today. Our Trust alumni will do anything within their power to help today’s students get jobs and to mentor them as they come onboard and launch their careers.”
