RALEIGH – Kelly E. Noble has joined Campbell Law School as an assistant director of the career and professional development center. Noble owns more than three and a half years of career service experience, most recently serving in the office of career and professional development at American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
“I am excited to be joining Campbell Law,” said Noble. “For 40 years now, Campbell Law’s service orientated mission of preparing new lawyers for practice has been of tremendous benefit throughout North Carolina and beyond. I look forward to contributing to that mission.”
At American, Noble first served as judicial clerkship advisor and was later promoted to assistant director for public service careers. In that role, she counseled students, presented instructional programming, and handled employer relations. Prior to American, she worked as an administrative hearing officer in the department of administration for the state of Rhode Island.
“I am thrilled to have Kelly join our team,” said Campbell Law Career Center Director Kala Taylor. “Her understanding of career development and employer relations will enable her to make a tremendous contribution to the mission and vision of the career center. Her outgoing personality is contagious and I can anticipate that students, staff, faculty, and the legal community will benefit from her enthusiasm.”
A native of Rhode Island, Noble earned her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Rhode Island and her juris doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. Upon graduation she was a judicial clerk for the Supreme Court of Rhode Island law clerk department.
“Finding jobs for our students is at the heart of what we do, and Kelly will be of great assistance in this endeavor,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard.
