Lawyer Volunteers Needed To Judge ABA Regional Negotiation Competition

RALEIGH, N.C. – On Saturday, November 12th and Sunday, November 13th, Campbell Law School will host the 2011-2012 Regional Negotiation Competition for the 4th Circuit of Law Schools. The competition provides participants with the opportunity to practice and improve their negotiating skills while they are still in law school.

This year’s competition problem involves real property. Volunteer judges will grade the students in the areas of legal analysis, poise, creativity, communication, and negotiation skills. Law students from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida will compete for the opportunity to advance to the national competition in New Orleans in February, 2012.

If you are a lawyer interested in judging a round of the competition, please e-mail oldkivett@email.campbell.edu. Available volunteer time slots are on November 12th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and also from 2 to 6 p.m.
