Ludlum Selected for North Carolina Bar Association Hall of Fame

RALEIGH, N.C. –Campbell Law School alum J. Garrett Ludlum has been selected for enshrinement into the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) General Practice Hall of Fame. Ludlum marks the first Campbell Law alum to receive the honor.

A member of the Campbell Law inaugural class of 1979, Ludlum will stand as one of six lawyers inducted on Thursday, June 21, at the 114th NCBA annual meeting in Wilmington, N.C.

“I have very fond memories of my law school experience at Campbell,” said Ludlum. “These memories are from the lifelong relationships that were created. I have a number of classmates that I maintain contact with on a regular basis.”

Ludlum currently practices at Ludlum Law Firm in Warsaw, N.C., focusing on DWI offenses, traffic violations, accidents, criminal defense, real estate, family law, personal injury, and estate planning. Admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1981, Ludlum is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has served as president, vice president, secretary and treasurer of the Duplin County Fourth Judicial District, and has served on the board of directors with the Association of North Carolina Municipal Attorneys.

At Campbell Law, Ludlum was a member of Delta Theta Phi. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Campbell University prior to attending Campbell Law.
