Medical School update: Construction photos from June 6

LILLINGTON – Almost seven months since the official groundbreaking ceremony of North Carolina’s first medical school in 35 years, Campbell University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine is taking shape nicely.

Campbell’s Communications Department was given a guided tour of the still-under-construction facility on June 6, walking all four stories of the east building and both floors of the west building. The nearly 100,000-square-foot medical training facility is expected to be completed in 2013, with classes scheduled to begin that fall.

Photos of the school, located on U.S. 421 a half-mile west of Campbell University’s main campus in Buies Creek, were posted on the University’s Facebook site on June 6. Click the link below to access the 40-plus photos.
