Andrew Muzyk, PharmD, assistant professor of pharmacy practice, recently received the 2012 Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award from the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists.
The award is sponsored by Pharmacists Mutual Companies and presented annually at NCAP’s Annual Convention to a pharmacist who has practiced less than ten years and participated in state and national associations, professional groups and in community service.
Muzyk is a practice-based faculty member and clinical specialist in internal medicine and psychiatry at Duke University Hospital. He is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Services at Duke University School of Medicine. Muzyk received his doctor of pharmacy degree from Mercer University’s Southern School of Pharmacy.
