RALEIGH – The Real Estate Lawyers Association of North Carolina has invited a group of attorneys, many of whom are Campbell Law School alumni, from Raleigh, Charlotte and other cities across the state to come speak to law students on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

The attorneys represent residential and commercial real estate practices across North Carolina in large, medium and small firms. The event will be held at noon in Room 307. The attorneys will share about their specific practices as well as the statewide real estate law landscape.

“This is a great chance for students to make statewide connections all in one place, and leave with a robust understanding of the state of this area of law across North Carolina,” said Director of Career and Professional Development Mallory Underwood. “They can also make connections whether they are interested in litigation or transactional work.”

Raleigh panelists include Abigail Breedlove ‘19, a commercial real estate lawyer at Jordan Price Wall Gray Jones & Carlton, who is also the president-elect of the Wake County Real Property Association.

Other Campbell Law alumni joining the panel include Bobby Stricklin ‘87 of Stricklin Law Firm in Havelock, Kyle Smalling ‘14 of Capital City Law in Durham, Nolan Perry ‘16 of Morgan and Perry Law in Fuquay-Varina, Chris Slayer ‘93 of Hutchens Law Firm in Fayetteville, Jim Arges ‘93 and Deborah Shartle ‘21 of Arges Law Firm in Durham. Other panelists include Randall Faircloth of Regent Law in Charlotte and Ben Kuhn of Ragsdale Liggett, who earned a BBA/MBA from Campbell University in 2009.

This is a tremendous networking opportunity for students interested in exploring any aspect of real estate law,” Underwood continued.
