Golf Digest has released their list of honorees for the 2021-2022 Best Young Teachers award, naming nine of Campbell’s PGAGM graduates to the list. In what Golf Digest calls the list of the most talented young instructors in golf, Campbell Business is proud to recognize the following alumni who are helping impart their knowledge to the next generation of golfers.

Named to the Northeast division were David Bove (’09), Darren Falk (’06), and Jorge Parada (’08). The Mid-Atlantic division also named Andrew Brewer (’16), Brandon Ray (’06), and Gavin Parker (’15). Gavin was also recently featured in an article by the PGA of America. TJ Yeaton (’10) was named under the Southeast division while Luke Donah (’15) and Carlton Dove (’04) were both named to the Midwest division.

“I’m happy for the alumni that were recognized by Golf Digest, but also happy for the current students of the Campbell University PGA Golf Management Program,” says Ken Jones, Director of PGA Golf Management, “We’ve always placed an emphasis on golf instruction and teaching skills in the curriculum, so to have nine graduates recognized for their success validates the effectiveness of the education program.”

Campbell Business’ PGA Golf Management is one of only 18 programs in the nation to be sanctioned and accredited by the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA). Located in the heart of North Carolina, Campbell’s PGA Golf Management program owns and operates a 27-hole golf and practice facility. Learn more about the program here.
