Ninety Eight Percent of Campbell Law Faculty and Staff Contribute to Annual Fund

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law is proud to announce a 98 percent participation rate among the faculty and staff contributing to the 2011 Law School Annual Fund Campaign. Giving by these two groups is at a record high. The results were recently celebrated at a luncheon.

The Law School Annual Fund Campaign is part of the overall Campbell University Annual Fund Campaign which is the cornerstone of the University’s fundraising. The dollars raised help to continue and nourish a tradition of a unique and demanding academic program specifically designed to produce practice-ready lawyers. The Campbell Law Annual Fund and the law school’s scholarship endowment assist students in reaching their full potential by lessening concerns related to the cost of their education.
Vice Dean Keith Faulkner said the contributions by the faculty and staff were evidence of support within the institution for the law school’s mission and program of study. “It’s extraordinary to be able to tell people that 98 percent of our faculty and staff are contributing to our annual fund,” Faulkner said. “It’s inspiring to be a part of community where so many are committed to financially supporting our school and our students.”
