Ogletree Deakins to sponsor Campbell Law trial team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard announced today that Ogletree Deakins has agreed to financially sponsor a competitive moot court team. The firm’s support will provide assistance for the team’s travel, lodging and preparation for the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, March 6-8, in Boston, Mass.

“We appreciate this generous gift from Ogletree Deakins,” said Leonard. “Campbell Law’s competitive advocacy reputation is well known, and this gift will ensure that our students have opportunities to continue learning and refining their skills outside of the classroom.”

One of the country’s leading labor and employment law firms, Ogletree Deakins provides coverage throughout the United States and also in Europe. Robert A. Sar, a 1995 Campbell Law graduate and Campbell Law Board of Visitors member, serves as the managing shareholder of the firm’s Raleigh office.
