Oliver elected to Campbell University board

Buies Creek, N.C. – Christopher Lawrence Oliver, of Lumberton, N.C., has been elected to Campbell University’s Presidential Advisory Board. Oliver is the president of Oliver Oil Company-Sun Do Kwik Shops in Lumberton.

A Campbell alumnus, Oliver received a degree in business in 1983 and has served on Campbell’s Alumni Board of Directors. He is also active in the Lumberton community, serving on the Kiwanis of Robeson County Board of Directors, the local RBC Bank Board of Directors and the Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce Board. At the state level, Oliver is a member of the North Carolina Petroleum Marketers Association.

Active in Hyde Park Baptist Church, Oliver has served on the Welcome and Rest Home Visitation Committees. He and wife Scarlett are the parents of four children, Caitlin, 19, a freshman at Campbell University; Meredith, 15, a sophomore at Lumberton High School; Christin, 10, a fifth grader at Carroll Middle School; and Cole, 7, a first-grader at Tanglewood Elementary School.
