Buies Creek, N.C.—Walton P. O’Neal III, of Belhaven, N.C., has been elected to Campbell University’s Presidential Board. O’Neal, a pharmacist, is the owner and operator of O’Neal’s Drug Store, Inc. in Belhaven.
A graduate of East Carolina University, O’Neal received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1992. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University’s School of Pharmacy in 1996.
O’Neal is active in his community, serving on the North Carolina Mutual Retail Advisory Committee and the Pungo District Hospital Board of Directors. He and his wife Helene are members of Trinity United Methodist Church in Belhaven, where O’Neal has served as treasurer, a member of the Finance Committee and a lay leader.
The O’Neals are the parents of two children, Walton IV, 10, and Miller, 8.
