Campbell University is hosting Operation Inasmuch on April 19, 2008. Operation Inasmuch is a day in which participants go into the community and serve others through various service and ministry projects.”I am excited about Campbell University’s participation in Operation Inasmuch because it affords us the opportunity to unite as a community of faith and learning for the purpose of helping others in the name of Christ,” said Faithe Beam, Campus Minister at Campbell University. The ministry is based on Matthew 25 in which Jesus said, “Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.”Participants will meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Academic Circle in front of D.Rich, pray, head out to work on their projects and meet back for lunch. T-shirts and lunch will be provided for the workers. “We are often challenged by President Wallace and others on our campus to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Through Operation Inasmuch, we can go into our community and live out this challenge,” said Beam. For more information, contact Faithe Beam at 893-1547 or email at [email protected]/* */.
