PA student receives competitive veterans scholarship

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

Thomas Notto, first-year physician assistant student at Campbell University, received the SSgt. Craig Ivory Memorial Scholarship awarded through the Veterans Caucus scholarship program.

The Veterans Caucus is a subgroup of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) representing PAs who are veterans of the United States Uniformed Services.

Prior to Campbell, Notto served as an Army Special Forces Medic based at Fort Liberty, NC.

This scholarship is provided by Pat and Terri Ivory in memory of their son Craig, an Army medic who passed away in Iraq, and recognizes the achievements of an outstanding veteran who is currently enrolled in a PA program.
