The Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences recognized members of the Doctor of Pharmacy Class of 2026 during the Class Celebration on May 6, honoring students for their leadership, academic excellence, patient care, professionalism and service to others throughout their pharmacy education journey.
Faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and impact of the graduating student pharmacists. Throughout the ceremony, presenters highlighted the dedication, resilience and compassion demonstrated by members of the class as they prepared to enter the profession of pharmacy.

The Outstanding Character Award recognizes the character of an extraordinary student pharmacist whose selfless drive and positive nature embody the Campbell University mission.

The Outstanding Leadership Award recognizes a student pharmacist who maintained exemplary professionalism and provided outstanding leadership throughout their pharmacy educational experience.

Leadership Award
The Moving Forward and Giving Back Leadership Award recognizes a student who dedicated countless hours mentoring incoming and prospective pharmacy students on behalf of the college.

The Alumni Association Senior Award honors students who demonstrated exceptional support of the college and the Alumni Association while showing a commitment to remaining actively involved as alumni leaders. The award also recognizes students dedicated to making a difference in the lives of future students. The recipient receives a $1,000 cash award.

The Pharmacy Practice Christian Citizenship Award recognizes a student whose citizenship and leadership exemplify Christian character and service within the pharmacy profession.

Viatris Excellence in Pharmacy Award
The Viatris Excellence in Pharmacy Award honors a graduating student who demonstrated superior proficiency in providing drug information services. Recipients must rank in the top 25 percent of the class while exhibiting high motivation and strong communication skills.

Academic Achievement Award
The Pharmacy Practice Academic Achievement Award recognizes student pharmacists who demonstrated exceptional dedication and scholarly achievement in their academic pursuits by ranking in the top 10 percent of the class.

Excellence in Patient Care Award
This award recognizes student pharmacists who demonstrated exemplary dedication to patient centered care through medication management, patient counseling, interdisciplinary collaboration and advocacy for optimal patient outcomes.

The Brian Rodgers Memorial Award
The Brian Rodgers Memorial Award recognizes a graduating pharmacy student who overcame significant adversity during pharmacy school while demonstrating perseverance, a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic.

National Community Pharmacists Association
Outstanding Student Member Award
This award recognizes an outstanding student member of the National Community Pharmacists Association for leadership and involvement within the organization.

Gerald M. Stahl Pharmacy Practice
Faculty Award
The Gerald M. Stahl Pharmacy Practice Faculty Award honors a graduate selected by faculty for excellence in therapeutics and dedication to the profession and humanity through professional organization involvement, religious service and community engagement.

The celebration also included remarks encouraging graduates to continue making a difference in the lives of others while remaining connected to the Campbell community as alumni. The evening concluded with a benediction reflecting on the responsibility and privilege of serving patients with wisdom, compassion and integrity as future healthcare professionals.
