Sarai Ibrahim, 2016 PharmD/MS in Clinical Research dual degree student, was one of ten post-graduate students selected to participate in the James A. Ferguson Emerging Infectious Disease Fellowship Program. The nine-week program is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and focuses on infectious diseases, urban health issues, research design, and other public health related topics.
Ibrahim will start the program in May, and participate in educational, research, and professional development opportunities at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, Md., and the CDC in Atlanta, Ga.
Ibrahim is originally from Greenville, N.C. She currently works as a teaching assistant for the MS in Clinical Research program and is an active member of the Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacy and Student National Pharmaceutical Association chapters at Campbell.
