Nineteen PharmD students were inducted into Campbell’s Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) chapter on November 7. Inductees submitted CVs and letters of intent for current chapter members to review before being selected as members of the pharmacy leadership society. There are now a total of 62 members in the chapter.
PLS supports pharmacy leadership by recognizing student leaders and fostering leadership development. During this academic year, PLS coordinated a leadership boot camp for incoming P1’s, is hosting a leadership lecture series and held its first leadership forum, where representatives from all pharmacy student organizations participated to share ideas about leadership opportunities.
