RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Assistant Professor Lucas Osborn has been named to the Triangle Intellectual Property Law Association’s Board of Directors. Osborn teaches courses in patent law, intellectual property and contracts and has been involved with the local intellectual property community since arriving at Campbell Law in 2009.
“I am excited to serve on the TIPLA Board and represent Campbell Law,” said Osborn. “I look forward to working alongside the Board and the organization’s members to continue to promote the strong intellectual property community in the Research Triangle.”
TIPLA aims to promote the preservation of fundamental principles of intellectual property rights and the future development of patent, trademark, copyright, and related unfair trade practice laws. The organization also strives to promote and encourage collegiality and a high standard of ethics within the intellectual property profession.
Campbell Law will host a TIPLA meeting in December, and has previously hosted TIPLA meetings, including this past February.
