Professor Wallace takes part in free exercise event

RALEIGH, N.C. –Campbell Law School Associate Professor Greg Wallace participated in a colloquium sponsored by the Federalist Society and the John Templeton Foundation on “The Past and Future of Free Exercise,” June 24-25, in San Francisco. The two-day, invitation-only colloquium gathered 16 religious liberty scholars from across the nation to examine foundational issues regarding the status of religious liberty and church autonomy, as well as more recent questions on the proper interpretation of statutes protecting religious liberty.

“Religious liberty has been under attack in recent years by ever-increasing government regulation and cultural hostility,” said Wallace. “We must make every effort to ensure that we don’t lose this cherished freedom.”
