Richmond resident named to Campbell University Presidential Board

Buies Creek, N.C.—Anthony James Oley of Richmond, Va. has been named to Campbell University’s Presidential Board. Oley is the president and founder of Family Care Pharmacy in Richmond.

Oley graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy. However, Oley family members share in a long tradition of Campbell education. Receiving pharmacy degrees from Campbell’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences are Sarah Oley Thomas, Helene Oley Koehler, Jackie Wilby Sheriff, Shannon Meadows Dowdy and Cara Wilby.

A business and civic leader, Oley is involved in several charitable organizations, including the Virginia Baptist Homes, the Alzheimer’s Association, St. Francis Home and the Beth Shalom Home, among others.

He and his wife Julie are members of St. Anthony Catholic Church. They are the parents of three children: Timothy, currently enrolled in Campbell’s pharmacy program; Anthony, Jr., a first year law student at the University of Virginia; and Patrick, a junior at Washington and Lee University.
