SBA, Pro Bono Council host 2nd annual ‘Campbell Law’s Got Talent’ on Feb. 8

RALEIGH — Campbell Law School’s Student Bar Association (SBA) and Pro Bono Council will host the second annual “Campbell Law’s Got Talent!” on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The event is set to start at 6:30 p.m. in Room 105.

In addition to the talent competition, the Pro Bono Council will also hold a silent auction to support its projects. Featured items include a Campbell Law swag bag, four top-deck parking passes, cold-call passes for certain professors (some for a week and some for an ENTIRE semester), breakfast or lunch for four at A Place at the Table and the opportunity to bid on meals with select faculty and staff, said Jillian Camp, director of the Pro Bono Council. “More awesome auction items will be announced soon,” she added.

Registration is now open for those interested in participating in the talent show. A video of the talent must be uploaded during registration for approval. There are three categories:

  • musical
  • performance
  • faculty/staff

The musical category is for those students who sing and/or play a musical internment. The performance category is for students who dance, perform spoken word or any other non-musical talent. The top three winners in each student category will receive a gift card to either Amazon, Chick-Fil-A or Starbucks.

Faculty and staff may also register in their own category. Registration closes Tuesday, Feb. 1. Participants will be notified if their registration is approved by Feb. 3.
