BUIES CREEK — Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business inducted its second class of students — 34 of them — into the Delta Mu Delta international honor society on Thursday, Nov. 7.
Membership in Delta Mu Delta is the highest honor that business students can receive and recognizes their excellent scholastic achievements. Students are eligible to be inducted into Campbell’s Mu Nu chapter of the honor society if they are a junior and in the top 10 percent of their class, a senior in the top 20 percent of their class, or a graduate student in the top 10 percent of their class.
The School of Business became eligible to establish a Delta Mu Delta chapter after it received its accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs in May 2012. Campbell’s Mu Nu chapter was installed in November 2012, and 28 students were inducted into the charter class. Many parents, spouses and friends were in attendance in the Marshbanks Dining Hall’s Alumni Banquet Room Thursday to support the 34 students inducted into the second class.
