School of Business Library to hold Entrepreneur Meet-up 12/9

BUIES CREEK — Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business Library will hold an Entrepreneur Meet-up Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Harnett County Public Library, in Lillington.

The event is free and open to the public. Business-minded individuals and entrepreneurs are especially encouraged to attend.

The meet-up will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a meet and greet. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., three entrepreneurs from Harnett County will make presentations and hold an answer and question session and informal discussion.

The speakers are Tom Butler of Butler Farms in Lillington; Brian Avery of Averasborough Town Drama Company, a historic and educational video production company based in Angier; and Andy Howard, of H20 Fowl Farms in Dunn.

The Entrepreneur Meet-up is supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, which is a division of the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources. The grant was awarded to Campbell’s School of Business Library. Dan Maynard, the business librarian, serves as project manager.
