Campbell University’s Birth-Kindergarten education and child development programs will host a Scholastic Book Fair, April 26-May 2, from 12-6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Memorial Baptist Church in Buies Creek.The Book Fair is being held to highlight the Week of the Young Child, a national event sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The NAEYC works to improve professional practice and support early childhood educational programs by building highly effective groups committed to focusing on the needs of young children.The Scholastic Book Fair will feature popular books for ages pre-school to eighth grade, according to Dr. Connie Chester, coordinator of the B-K program at Campbell.”It will be a great learning experience for students and children,” Chester said.
